Look Into Your Eyes

“…Fijate en tí \ Muy dentro de tí…”

Take time to look into your own eyes this week. When you step out of the shower, or get into your car and you’re waiting for it to warm up, go ahead and take a good look at yourself. Whatever personal or religious beliefs you may have, we were all created by something universal and good. We can agree to disagree on so many things, but if we can all agree that we are all created for good and that we are beautiful human beings in our individuality, imagine the peace that would bring. Maybe not world peace, but the peace we can only find within ourselves and THAT is something sacred. Be sexy in thought and action. It’s Stay Sexy Thursday and I issue this challenge: for one week, dry off in front of the mirror and embrace the good! You’re a sexy beast and don’t be afraid to tell yourself that. =)

Challenging...

Happy Stay Sexy Thursday! I was just posting a comment on my friend's FB page and realized I hadn't posted yet today. Today's "Stay Sexy" moment was challenging, because my own personal day was filled with a wonderful bouquet of emotions; deep soul penetrating thoughts, challenges, and triumphs that altered and enhanced my perspective on life in general. As I look to the past to gain knowledge, appreciate and assess the moments of today, I look towards tomorrow with all that gives me wisdom. To restate what I posted on her page: "So many things to say, so little time to say them...really, I think it's about having the courage to mean them when spoken." When speaking to those around us in the world and to ourselves, it's all fine to do what we say, but mean what we say when we do. :)
Stay Sexy. See it. Be it. Believe it.

Consequences of Actions

Happy Stay Sexy Thursday! Lately, I have considered the consequences of the actions we take and don't take in life and how those choices directly relate to the status of our lives at present. Whether they be for the good or the challenging, living a life of regret or of the unknown will ultimately lead us down a road of sadness, loneliness, and ultimately - bitterness. Sometimes we invest so much time in seeking out "why" things went awry, instead of focusing on the things we CAN control and seek inwardly on how we can move forward with our heads high. This doesn't mean we won't FEEL sad, but we don't need to let it hinder us from becoming better, confident, happier, and SEXIER individuals. The triumph comes from our inward perception of "self" and what we CHOOSE to do with it. Stay Sexy. Sexy starts first in the Head and then with the Heart.
