Happy Stay Sexy Thursday!
Being brave to take the first step is indeed, an act of bravery,
courage, intestinal fortitude, etc. However, I have always known, and
especially recently, have re-discovered that it’s only the beginning to
an even more demanding and difficult obstacle ahead. Though worthwhile,
taking that first step and getting the “go ahead” answer seems like a huge leap, but really, it’s only a tiny step towards an even greater challenge – follow through.
Not only is taking that first step incredibly important, it is the
maintaining of that momentum to continue to move forward, complete the
task or objective you had set out to conquer. Though there will be
setbacks, being confident in the person you are, being resolute to why
you chose to move forward, and that even when you feel like you’re at
square one, you will never be there again. Remind yourself to keep your
head up, eyes forward, and maintain the stay sexy attitude to: always
make your best effort, seek to always find the good in yourself and in
others, smile and love often.
Confidence must always continue
to be nurtured to be maintained throughout our lives and even when we
fall short, we must remember that “failure isn’t failure, if a lesson
from it’s learned.” (bonus points if you know this reference). Sexy
starts first in the head, then in the heart!
